Top 5 Posts of 2015

Happy New Year’s Eve!  Now is the time when we replay the past year in our minds and then think of what we would like to work on the following year.  This is no different for me with my blog.  I have loved sharing my art life with you this past year and wanted to share with you my top 5 favorite blog posts.  Trust me, it was extremely difficult choosing only 5 posts but here they are in no particular order.  Just click on the post title links below to view the original posts.

Red Bubble Merchandise Now Available

I finally took the time to edit and upload some of my artwork on a website called Red Bubble.  On Red Bubble, artists are able to upload their artwork on to Red Bubble, and consumers are able to purchase the artwork on different merchandise, such as phone cases, bags, pillows, laptop skins and a ton of other things.  Red Bubble prints the artwork on to the merchandise and ships it to the consumer.  The artist gets a portion of the sale.  How awesome is that?  I had been wanting to get involved with this website for some time and once I did, I couldn’t wait to order a few things!  The one that I was most excited about was my phone case titled “Seeker.”

I also purchased the “Seeker” in a women’s relaxed fit shirt as well as a medium-size tote in the “She loved music because it soothed her soul” print.

You can find all of my available merchandise on Red Bubble and search under “lonebirdstudio.”  If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email.  There are so many items available for purchase that would make wonderful gifts for the holidays.  Thanks again for all of your support and I hope you are enjoying the holiday season.  Thanks for stopping by 🙂

Vintage Book Journals

I recently created two journals out of vintage books.  One was bound with tea dyed copy paper and the other was bound with scrapbook paper.  I also created pockets in the one with the scrapbook paper but left it very basic without adding any other ephemera.

I did a quick flip through video of the journals which you can find here:

Hope you enjoy 🙂

Also, both of the journals that you see in the video are currently for sale.  If you are interested, just send me an email.  I have also listed them under my “For Sale” page.

Thanks for stopping by the blog and remember to keep art in your heart!
